NOTE:
Biographies below are as they appeared in the showbill
at the time of production.

[Mark Gordon] MARK ROBERT GORDON (Kevin; Playwright) has, in a short span, pursued diverse ventures: from having his research published in a professional scientific journal at the age of eighteen, to working on Capitol Hill under the mentoring eye of then-Congressman Morris Udall, to currently compiling an anthology of his poetry (working title: Tears of Ink). New York stage credits include performances at: Union Square Theater Studio, Sanford Meisner Theater, Wings Theatre, American Theater of Actors, Minor Latham Playhouse, and staged readings with the Columbia Dramatists, Three Masques Productions, and the New York Shakespeare Festival. Born in Phoenix and having moved to the East coast to pursue his education and acting career, he received degrees from Princeton University (A.B., Woodrow Wilson School of Public & Int'l Affairs/Afro-American Studies) and Columbia Law School (J.D.) in a combined total of six years while simultaneously sneaking off to private acting studio training and movement lessons with Loyd Williamson at the Actors' Movement Studio. He has recently held readings for two of his other plays (Hamilton: The Flame of Revolution--a one-character study of Alexander Hamilton, and Did You Evuh?--a Jewish comedy), and is currently working on the sequel to the latter (working title: Nevuh!) and a one-person show about his life (working title: Searching for a Script). He is the founder and Artistic Director of DGP.

[David Arrick] DAVID ARRICK (Attacker) is a graduate of Circle-In-The-Square Theatre School with a BFA from NYU Tisch School of The Arts. Credits include productions with The Julliard School, Steppin' Out Rep, and bilingual (French/English) national tours of Moliere's The Miser and Dumas' The Three Musketeers with The National Theatre for the Performing Arts. Most recently, "All My Children" marked his television debut. Many thanks to family and friends.

[Jim Cullom] JIM CULLOM (Butch/Father) was most recently seen as Paul in the Off-Broadway production of What You Are About to See is Real. Regional credits include Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, Jesus in Godspell. Jim received his M.F.A. from Rutgers University where he trained with Bill Esper. Jim performs in Our Time, a cabaret revue of Sondheim music. Thank you, Mollie, for your constant love and support.

[Joey Digiandomenico] JOEY DIGIANDOMENICO (Jock/Strip Club Dancer) has appeared in the New York stage productions of: Italian American Reconciliation, Lovers & Other Strangers, Twilight Tales, Nuns Against Filth, and the original Cute Boys In Their Underpants. He has had leading roles in the independent films Reflections and The Cannibals and was featured in the film Without You I'm Nothing (starring Sandra Bernhard). Joey has studied with Richard Pinter and Gotham City Improv and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He has also appeared in national commercials for Polaroid and Gillette. Joey would like to thank his family and friends and God for their guidance and support.

[Jack Hassan] JACK HAZAN (Preacher/Transvestite) has worked at various theatres throughout NYC, including The Kitchen, Intar, The Ohio Theatre, and Cooper Square Theatre, where he created roles in numerous original productions. He has also worked on multimedia pieces in the U.S. and Europe with Elaine Shipman and S.I.T.U., as well as workshopped several pieces with Ruth Malezcech and Terry O'Reilly of Mabou Mines. Most recently, Jack played the role of Simon in Wally White's film Lie Down with Dogs, which will be released by Miramax in July.

[Lynn Marie Hulsman] LYNN MARIE HULSMAN (Mother/Hooker) was most recently seen in NYC as Suzy in Hellbent For Malaise. Other New York credits include A Christmas Twist and First Warning with The Village Theatre Company of which she is a member, A Shayna Maidel, and Spoon River Anthology. She hails from Kentucky and often questions her judgement about exchanging bourbon & bluegrass for the subway. Latest film and t.v. credits include City Hall, "Blown Sideways Through Life" for PBS and Donna in the indie feature Burn. Regionally, she was seen at The Williamstown Theatre Festival in Inherit The Wind directed by Peter Hunt, as Her in More Than Meets the Eye and as Whore in Loveshit: A Collage. She holds a B.A. in English and Theatre and trained in NYC at The Neighborhood Playhouse and with William Alderson. She is proud to be involved with DGP. Thanks to Ricky for his unselfish friendship and support.

[Harley Kaplan] HARLEY KAPLAN (Boy in Shelter/Transvestite) makes his Off-Broadway debut in My Soul is Mine. He was, however, literally born into the business. His mother, an actress, was doing her final project in a scene study class when she went into labor with Harley during a pregnant pause (or so the legend goes). Since his graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Harley has been concentrating mostly on film and television work. TV appearances include NBC's "Saturday Night Live", Fox's "D.J. Kat Show", and cable's "Sixth Floor Harrison" in which he starred as Chuck. Harley can soon be seen in the leading role of Jacob in the independent film Ocean Wine, and as Young Walter in the feature Cul-de-Sac, which stars William Hickey and Joey Buttafuoco.

[Mikal Kartvedt] MIKAL KARTVEDT (Driver/Homeless) arrived in New York in 1989 and was quickly associated with Mr. Johnson Off-Broadway at Cooper Square Theatre where he appeared in numerous productions including the epic Pope Joan, Mary Stuart and the drag revue Nose Job. The commercial world beckoned and those credits include MCI, Dr. Pepper and the U.S. Army. To be working with Mr. Johnson & Mr. Gordon under these charitable circumstances has once again made the New York stage a wonderful experience.

[Joseph Rain] JOSEPH RAIN (Understudy) is very excited to be a part of this production and gives special thanks to Bobby. Since arriving four years ago with his straw suitcase at 42nd Street, he has trained with William Esper, Diann Ainslee, and Loyd Williamson and has worked on many projects, several of which have been permanantly blocked out in order to keep his sanity. He thanks Gina and special others for belief.

[Jon Michael Johnson] JON MICHAEL JOHNSON (Director) was the Artistic Director of the Cafe Theatre in Frankfurt, Germany before moving to New York where he was one of the founding members of the Cooper Square Theatre. As Artistic Director of CST, he directed Ru Paul and Mona Foote in My Pet Homo and Patrick Kilpatrick in The Best Offer. Other productions include Historical Prods by Eoin West, Schiller's Mary Stuart, and Peace by Aristophanes. Most recently, he directed Cathy Haase in the Glines production of So Much in Common by Andrew Sherrod. Mark Robert Gordon has been a dream to work with and Jon wishes to thank him for this opportunity. One of Jon's proudest moments was producing "Ru Paul Entertains the Troops," a float in the New York Gay Pride March protesting the dismissal of Colonel Margarethe Cammermeyer from the U.S. military. Jon is a U.S. Army Veteran and abhors the current policy.
